Full Job Description
Performs specialized cleaning and sanitizing duties with intent of providing a safe healthcare environment. Complete standardized cleaning process in patient rooms, offices, departments, and other secondary areas, utilizing the seven-step cleaning process. Demonstrate the individual and team behaviors that embody the service excellence philosophy. Perform additional duties as assigned within the Support Services Department.
Education: Basic reading and communicating skills required.
Experience: 1 year preferred but not required.
Licensure/Certification: N/A Primary Source Verification (if applicable): N/A
Knowledge/Skills: On the job training provided. Must have the ability to operate standard cleaning equipment. Basic computer skills needed. Must maintain strict confidentiality of all work-related information.
Contacts: Constant interactions with co-workers, support staff, nursing/clinical staff, patients, physicians, family members, management, and all other customers. AIDET is expected when interacting with all customers.
