Palms seeks a Leasing Consultant for our Devon Pointe apartment community. The Leasing Consultant serves a vital role for the property:

Travel to local businesses, schools, hospitals to market our beautiful property
Tour model and/or rent ready apartment homes with prospective residents, identifying their needs and demonstrating how apartment features can meet their needs.
Connect with prospect by following up until a rental decision is made.
Make certain future residents understand deposit policies
Ensure apartment availability reports/boards/forms are updated
Complete lease paperwork ensuring compliance with company policies
Inspect future resident’s apartment to ensure readiness and “sparkle”
Explain lease paperwork to future residents
Prepare lease renewal packages
Assist with resident work orders and accurately maintain and provide information to maintenance staff
Handle customer complaints professionally and recognize when to escalate un-resolved complaints to the Property or Assistant Manager.
Assist in planning resident functions

Palms seeks:
Prior sales, customer service or marketing experience; prior leasing experience on a lease up property a plus!
2 or 4 year college degree preferred
Focus on providing outstanding customer service to our new and current residents
Passion, integrity, and maturity
Strong organizational skills
Ability to prioritize work effectively and adapt quickly to changing priorities
Property management designation such as CAM, CAPS, NALP, CPM a plus!
YARDI software experience a plus!
