Sales and Marketing Specialist

Position Summary:

Answer and professionally interact with customers by telephone, email or internet, or in person to provide accurate information about Company’s products or services. Accurately process customer orders and upsell the customer whenever possible, quotes, returns, and resolve complaints efficiently and correctly with extraordinary attention to detail. Support the sales teams with marketing initiatives. Plan and execute Company’s marketing communications across print and electronic media. Work with firms that produce public relations materials, advertising, and marketing collateral products to support the sales team’s needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following:

  • Engaging in outbound and inbound phone calls to new and existing customers.
  • Grow Company revenue from new and existing accounts
  • Sell and upsell Company new and complementary products and value-added services.
  • Assist customers with setting up new accounts online and resetting passwords
  • Customer support representative for existing and new customers
  • Order entry and resolve queries utilizing the ERP system.
  • Recommend products to customers, based on customer needs and interests.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the Company’s product line and value chain.
  • Assist in developing plans and implementing the Company’s marketing communications across print and electronic marketing media. (e.g., website, blogs, emails and social media) moreover, ensure brand consistency
  • Manage and improve online content, considering SEO and Google Analytics
  • Liaise with Product, Design and Sales directors to increase client satisfaction through cohesive strategies
  • Stay up-to-date with digital technology developments & brainstorm new and creative growth strategies
  • Content management of websites; generating new content, writing blogs and ensuring that all show pages and company information is kept up-to-date.
  • Create e-flyers and editing images.
  • Manage YouTube channel, including the generation of content and playlists.
  • Administrative or other marketing support to assist with the efficient running of the department, as and when required.
  • Ability to work in a team environment with constant attention to accomplishing department and company goals
  • Practice integrity in customer, vendor and coworker’s relationships.
  • Strive for continuous improvement in sales and service.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities, and Experience Responsibilities:

This position has no supervisory responsibility. BS in Business Administration or Marketing with three (3) to five (5) years of inside sales experience or filmmaking and editing experience and experience of working with advertising on Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube. To perform this job successfully, an individual should know Contact Management systems; Database software; ERP, Order processing systems and Microsoft Office Suite software. Working knowledge of design packages such as Photoshop and InDesign and experience using website content management systems. Excellent copywriting and proofreading skills, and a keen eye for detail as well as a creative flair in the generation of fun and original online content.
