The Role

Project Manager - Corporate Interiors/Office Renovations

Working in a client facing role, responsible for the management of an extended professional team of consultants, contractors and stakeholders, leading multiple fit-out projects for our corporate real estate and retail clients.

The opportunity is to act as the key client interface ensuring that the client objectives are met through the delivery of a value added project management service.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:
Ensuring that the highest standards of health and safety are considered as a priority throughout all stages of the project’s life cycle.
Developing a high performing team that strives for quality, safety, cost and schedule improvements at every opportunity with all delivery partners.
Developing the client’s brief and delivery strategy, leading the design management, procurement and execution of the scheme through the established supply chain partners.
Developing the project management strategy in line with the Mace Way and the client requirements.
Working closely with the client, tenants, sub consultants and contractors to ensure timely, cost effective delivery.
Coordinating and managing multiple stakeholders and demonstrate the ability to build robust, long term relationships and integrated teams.
Acting as technical advisor to the client.

Health and Safety Objectives:
Assisting in developing workplace safety procedures.
Promoting workplace safety standards and procedures.
Reporting any unsafe acts, conditions or accidents immediately.
Assisting the safety team in achieving high standards of workplace safety.

The Requirements

Your Experience, Knowledge and Skills Need to Include:
Previous experience in high-end build-out projects for corporate or retail clients.
Experience leading build-out, refurbishment, restack projects through design, procurement, delivery and hand over.
Experience working in a pressurized environment and occupied buildings.
Excellent technical grounding in all aspects of project management.
Use of the Microsoft Office suite of programs.
Being an effective communicator, with excellent influencing and negotiating skills.
Ability to build and maintain key client relationships.
Results and quality focused individual.
Detailed knowledge and appreciation of health and safety is essential.


A degree qualification is essential.
Professional memberships are an advantage, but are not essential.
