You know you’re brilliant at selling on the phone. You’re supremely articulate, and confident in your ability to close. And you regularly meet and exceed sales targets.

All you need is an organization with the growth trajectory and vision to match your ambition.

Who are we?

At Willbanks & Associates, we’re proud leaders in commercial heating systems and equipment. Our brands lead the way in innovation and reliability and our value-added services allow us to customize solutions to fit the specific needs of mechanical and plumbing contractors.

We’re a 3rd generation family owned business that has been around for 40 years. Our team is growing and we are seeking an experienced industrial distribution (mechanical, plumbing, or oil & gas) business-to-business salesperson to join our warm family culture and fun work atmosphere in our busy Houston office.

For the right individual, the rewards — financial and personal — will be tremendous.

What is the role?

You’ll take charge of our sales pipeline and win new accounts and projects for our commercial heating systems products and services.

On any given day you will:

  • Conduct business development appointments over the phone. You’ll lead discovery sessions that demonstrate how our products and solutions are sustainable and cost-effective.
  • Manage the sales pipeline. You’ll manage flow of transactions from opportunity to close, follow up on quotes, and close sales.
  • Record phone call and meeting data. You’ll need to keep our CRM up-to-date with your call results to assist opportunity management and reporting.
  • Report at sales meetings. You’ll regularly update the management team on the performance of the overall sales function as well as the status of discrete opportunities.

How do we help you succeed?

Our Promotional team uses aggressive lead-generation campaigns to continuously generate prospects who are likely to benefit from our highly regarded boiler technologies and services. What’s more, these prospects will have a genuine interest in our products, and how they can use our solutions to maximize equipment life and efficiency, and eliminate downtime.

In short, we provide the leads... so you can concentrate on what you do best — get on the phone and close sales!

This isn’t a role to research prospective customers, conduct copious amounts of industry research, schedule meetings, and attempt to wrap other unnecessary activities under the guise of “sales.”

Our salespeople like to sell. The team is dynamic, passionate and driven, dedicated to customer satisfaction and are continually striving to dominate the market place.

They’re good on the phones, and have fun doing it!

What experience should you have?

You’ll be comfortable in a busy sales environment.

You’ll also have the smarts to rapidly pick up our portfolio. Enthusiastically articulating our products and services will quickly become second nature.

Because the role is office-based, if you don’t like talking on the phone, this probably isn’t the position for you.

Other favorable traits include:

  • At least 3-5 years of industrial distribution sales experience . You have business-to-business sales experience, understand how to sell, and have a proven knack for closing on the phone.
  • Comfortable on the phone . Because this is an office-based sales role you need the communication skills to interpret what someone on the other end of the call is feeling.
  • You have a passion for learning new products. You can quickly learn new products so you can articulate them with perfection to prospective customers.
  • Computer skills. You know your way around MS Office and you’ll have experience with CRMs and data entry. Ideally, it would be Vtiger or Salesforce. (Of course, we also provide training on how we use “our” CRM.)

The benefits to you

Willbanks & Associates full-time employees enjoy a wide range of employee benefits including but not limited to Medical, 401(K), PTO- Paid Holidays and Paid Time off (Vacation and Personal Days), and free parking.

Our team has huge ambitions. If you’re happy to roll your sleeves up and advance your career, you’ll enjoy being part of a fun, skilled team in an open-minded and entrepreneurial company that’s passionate about customer service.
