Big Red F is looking for a dynamic, energetic, sales tour de force to be our Post Brewing Company Sales Manager for 4 Front Range locations; helping us grow our business and taking Events & Catering to the next level.

Job Summary:

The Sales Manager is responsible for aggressively soliciting, selling, booking events, and tracking event sales at BigRedF Denver restaurants (primarily Jax Glendale and Lola). Must be a fervent ambassador for BigRedF Restaurants and skilled at building relationships and networking; you will work intimately with clients, guests and restaurant managers to develop BEOs and blueprints for successful BigRedF events.

You mustbe able to effectively cope with change; shift gears comfortably; decide and act without having the total picture; not get upset when things are up in the air; comfortably handle uncertainty. Humility, patience and confidence are paramount to success in our Sales Roles. We expect you to have an active personal life with strong interests, passions, hobbies and diversions.


  • Proactively and successfully sell the private dining spaces and catering offerings of BigRedF restaurants
  • Create a territorial sales and marketing strategy in order to reach or exceed sales goals
  • Reach or exceed quarterly and yearly budgeted sales goals
  • Clear and concise communication with Chefs and General Managers
  • Plan events with client and Chef/GM through to the final BEO
  • Coordinate and act as lead manager of all off-site events or find a replacement (a GM/AGM)
  • Offer strategic direction to expand event and catering offerings, menus and programming throughout BigRedF


  • 4 years experience in sales for the retail and/or hospitality industries
  • 2 years experience managing a team
  • Familiarity and proven communication protocol with staff
  • Possess basic financial skills
  • Proficient knowledge of web based project management software, Triple Seat and/or other web based event management software
  • Working knowledge of POS/Aloha, Scheduling Software, Excel (spreadsheets) and Google Suite
  • Experience managing social media content (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.)
  • Basic understanding of Adobe Creative Suite (menu creation)

Physical Demands: (If necessary)

  • Flexibility to travel to BigRedF restaurants and outside venues for meetings, client walk-throughs, training, etc.
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays
  • Availability to respond to client emails and calls at all times of the day
