Full Job Description
The Intel Key Generation Facility (IKGF) is seeking an Information Security Specialist experienced in server, networking, and storage technology and infrastructure to become a core member of the IKGF infrastructure team.
The ideal candidate will have deep experience designing, planning, deploying, and supporting Windows and Linux Server operating systems; implementing and supporting networks and Cisco network devices; and implementing Microsoft solutions such as Failover Clustering, Distributed File System (DFS), Active Directory, and SQL Server.
Working in a team role, this position will support services essential for securing IKGF systems such as Windows and Linux patching, asset and incident management, physical security, Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery event planning and support, quarterly administration tasks and short and long term development projects.
Daily responsibilities include managing and responding to incident and service request tickets; advocating for the Services team in design review meetings; supporting solutions that meet IKGF business goals and objectives; supporting team members and projects throughout the entire development and sustaining lifecycle; and maintaining on site as well as virtual infrastructure across multiple locations while being flexible enough to accommodate regularly changing priorities.
Candidates demonstrating Lean Six Sigma and Information Security principles are desired.

Good communications skills capable of drafting How-To, BKM, and installation documents.
Comfortable working in monitored High Security facilities and compact, isolated spaces; performing cable and wiring installations; and standing for extended periods of time.
Able to multitask and manage workload and projects effectively with minimal supervision.
Comfortable with changes in work priority and task direction based on changing business needs. Knowledgeable with Information Security concepts and practices.
Good soft skills, self-starter and able to work independently managing projects.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Technology, Business or equivalent
3+ years of experience managing Windows servers including user and group account management, share and NTFS permissions, services, application installation, repair, and removal, as well as event log reviews.
1+ year of experience configuring and deploying network hardware with knowledge of IP addressing, subnet masks, network configuration, VLANs, and IP routing.
PowerShell or Python programming experience
Lean Six Signa Green Belt / Black Belt certifications
Familiarity supporting Splunk in deployment, configuration, and reporting
Experience working with Intel FTDR, IT Networks, and Intel InfoSec.
Familiarity supporting HP servers and storage solutions, Cisco Layer2/Layer3 networking devices
Experience performing and participating in BCP/DRP planning and events
Experience deploying and managing Intel Enterprise solutions including VRA, WSSP, WAF, and Highwire
Certification(s) from SANS Institute (GIAC), CompTIA, ISC2, Cisco or others such as GSEC, Security+, Network+, CISSP, CCNA, or OSCP.
Experience supporting large system and/or network environments.
