About the Terminal Planning and Design Team…

Seamless integration between strategic intent and realization, our terminal planning and design solutions focus on the airport user – operator, airline or passenger. Project outcomes are based on both analytical and qualitative inputs.These optimal outcomes encompass capital and operational efficiencies, superior levels of passenger service and experience, maximization of commercial revenue opportunities, and integration of terminal with both landside and airside.

General Information

Provide technical support to fulfill client needs regarding terminal planning assignments. Prepare graphic, technical, analytical and written materials in an effective, clear, and timely manner. Responsible for professional quality and accuracy in all information produced and effectively communicating assignment progress to task manager.

Essential Functions

  • Assist in developing terminal building conceptual plans
  • Attend and observe client meetings/presentations at the direction of the project manager
  • Communicate with clients and sub-consultants at the direction of project manager
  • Cut and assemble 3D physical models and 2D drawings
  • Effectively communicate and utilize supporting analysts, co-ops and administrative assistants to accomplish task assignments
  • Participate in data collection and survey assignments
  • Prepare 3D computer models, AutoCAD drawings, client transmittals for task assignments, graphic exhibits, hand-drawn sketches and exhibits (e.g., marker drawings), multimedia presentations, numerical tables, space takeoffs, survey data
  • Assist in determining passenger-walking distance analyses
  • Assist in preparing aircraft and taxilane configurations, aircraft ramp charts, loading bridge analyses, and terminal simulation polygons
  • Assist in writing task analysis results
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Educational/Technical/Experience Requirements

1-3 years of architecture experience.

A Degree in Architecture is required Position requires exceptional software proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

A working knowledge of the SketchUp, Adobe Suite, and 3DS Max is desirable.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, with a minimum expectation of 40 hours per week. Hours are somewhat flexible, and some late evenings may be required.
