What you will do:

At Stryker, we change healthcare for the better by creating products and software that genuinely saves lives. In your role as a Senior Software Verification Engineer, you’ll be responsible for conducting product level software test activities over the entire product development cycle. You’ll be involved from the very beginning – contributing to the design and development – and you’ll be there throughout the execution and implementation phases. We’ll look to you to run product test programs, as you’re the torchbearer when it comes to ensuring the proper utilization of best practices. From developing software verification tests and identifying potential product issues to recommending test strategy and automation improvements and resolving issues that arise, you are the crucial conduit to ensuring our product is ready for use. Your precision with software verification sets the stage for lives to be saved.

What you need:
Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, electrical engineering or related discipline or equivalent experience
2 years of product testing or equivalent experience in a product development environment
Preferred experience with:
Demonstrated ability to work complex projects with competing priorities
Experience with software verification activities within a software development cycle
Experience with designing and implementing automated testing scripts
Familiarity with software configuration/version control and bug tracking tools
Experience with software test equipment and test methodologies
Familiarity with externally regulated product development environments (FDA, FAA, etc.)
Familiarity with medical device software development standards
Familiarity with 21 CFR 820 regulations and ISO 13485 medical device standards
