ColonialWebb is seeking an energetic and driven HVAC Apprentice to join our team in Manassas. Under the guidance of senior HVAC Mechanics, you will learn how to repair and install complex commercial HVAC systems. In addition to on-the-job training, you will have an opportunity to apply for an apprenticeship and attend trade school to obtain your HVAC Journeyman's license.

What you'll do:
Learn how to repair, install, replace, and retrofit mechanical equipment, sheet metal products, and ductwork for commercial HVAC projects.

Typical projects include installation and retrofitting services for rooftop units, heat pumps, DX systems, chillers, cooling towers, commercial boilers, pneumatic and electrical control systems.

What we're looking for:
Some knowledge of HVAC industry coupled with a willingness and desire to learn more.

Completion of (or currently completing) HVAC trade school (is a plus, but not required).

EPA certification, or ability to obtain within 90 days.

Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations.

Understanding of basic construction/shop math.

Ability to work easily and skillfully with hands.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Ability to work within precise limits or standards of accuracy.

Ability to communicate effectively and deal diplomatically with coworkers and other tradespeople.

Maintain a positive attitude and willing to work in a team environment.
