Hudson Cannabis | Hash Innovation Lab Technician
Reports to Hash Innovation Lab Manager
A Hash Innovation Lab Technician works in conjunction with the lab supervisor in the production of hash and hash related products at Hudson Cannabis. This role requires detailed data collection and the ability to follow specific SOPs and training guidelines.
What does the day to day of this position look like?
90% - Bulk and packaged kief and hash production
10% - Communication with staff and management
Responsibilities: Hash Innovation Lab
- Transport, store and organize cannabis biomass.
- Load and run kief processing equipment.
- Fill out internal production logs.
- Regular daily cleaning and weekly deep cleaning of the lab and equipment.
- Work with the team to produce final products.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Must be over the age of 21
- 2 years experience post-processing consumable goods such as agriculture, cannabis, culinary, etc.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Process, SOP and training experience
- An interest in research and development and an interest in learning about cannabis extracts.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. safely and consistently
- Reliable means of transportation on a daily basis
- Ability to tolerate cannabis dust, and adherence to mandatory PPE requirements (face masks, ventilators, work gloves, sleeve protectors)
