The Facilities Manager is responsible for performing a variety of work in the general maintenance and repair of buildings, facilities, equipment, and grounds. The incumbent may provide direction, establish priorities, assign tasks, coordinate work projects and the work of other personnel.
Here’s what we are looking for:
- High School Diploma with a minimum five (5) years of relevant facilities maintenance experience with a minimum of one (2) years of supervisory experience in facilities operations or equivalent.
- Strong leadership skills and knowledge of all phases of maintenance and repair; planning, scheduling, supervision and physical plant administration. Knowledge and understanding of safety practices, record keeping, and report writing with knowledge of best practices in facilities operations management, including supply chain and contractor management.
- Good project and budget management, organizational and analytical skills, and the ability to draw conclusions, develop recommendations and clearly communicate both orally and in written communications
- Proven leadership and managerial experience with custodial, grounds and mechanical maintenance personnel facilities management setting
- Ability to work independently and make good business decisions
- Ability to use Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint
