Under the direction of the Director of Quality Assurance, engages in moderately complex work in planning, implementing, and coordinating effective and efficient facilities management programs for maintenance, repairs, and custodial services; in planning, coordinating special projects. Provides guidance to inventory specialist regarding data entry into inventory system. Works with inventory specialist to reconcile inventory records to physical inventory and other reports. Ensures compliance with TWC property standards. Ensures compliance with the Texas Workforce Commission’s (TWC) property standards. Works with agency staff, vendors, and contractors for all facility-related issues. Plans, implements, and oversees the facilities used for agency business. Reviews budgets, expenditures, and construction project timelines. Prepares correspondence to various agencies. May conduct the performance monitoring of service providers to verify compliance with regulations and quality standards. Exercises discretion and independent judgment in matters of significance, as related to the general business operations of the agency. Regular attendance is required for this job. Performs other relevant duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university, with major course work in a field relevant to the assignment and a minimum of five years of experience in facilities management and oversight with extensive project management, and inventory control. Two years of full time experience in the field may be substituted for 30 semester hours of college credit.
