As the Senior Corporate Financial Analyst you will support the month end close and consolidation processes as well as the annual budgeting and forecasting for the consolidated business focused primarily on reporting and analysis. You will be part of a global consolidations team and will assist business units, regions and corporate accounting in completing their monthly, quarterly and annual reporting requirements. Adhoc reporting and monthly analysis of the consolidated numbers will also be an integral part of this position.
Essential Job Functions:
Responsible for consolidating global results for actual, budget and forecast.
Assist and offer guidance in the submissions for month end close, forecast, budget, statistical and other supplemental data.
Assist with investigation of data validation issues and ensuring all inter-companies and eliminations are processed accurately.
Prepare and Analyze monthly/quarterly/annual financial results to ensure consistency in reporting and overall analysis of variances
Perform ad hoc financial reporting and modeling, as requested
Assist in the preparation of board of directors and executive leadership presentation materials
Identify and implement new and/or modify existing reporting and processes to improve the quality of presentations and information provided as well as increase efficiencies in the reporting/consolidation processes
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance and a minimum of five years of financial analysis, financial reporting, forecasting and budgeting experience.
Proven work experience as a Financial Analyst or similar role with demonstrated progression of responsibilities/level
Thorough understanding of financial reporting and financial modeling required, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow
Must be able to interact with all levels of management within the organization
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Must be able to collaborate globally and work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
Ability to work independently while balancing multiple priorities while meeting critical deadlines
Strong Excel skills and experience working with HFM application and the excel add in tool, SmartView
Strong written and verbal communication skills and experience with developing and presenting topics to senior management
Willing and able to travel up to 15% of the time
