Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Art and Design (Required)
- Design skills: Minimum of 5 years (Required)
- Adobe Creative Suite: Minimum of 5 (Required)
- WordPress: Minimum of 5 years (Required)
- Additional CMS experience is a plus
- HTML experience is preferred
- Proven talent for creating fresh, unique, and professional designs
- Strong work ethic and organizational skills

Full Job Description
The Website Designer will work with marketing and creative teams to produce powerful, unique, and engaging designs for website development clients. They will participate in and often lead the development of visual creative projects including website concepts, website designs, and website renderings for a wide variety of clientele.
The right candidate will have professional, hands-on experience in on-brand creative development and graphic design initiatives for digital marketing. They should understand the importance of balancing user experience with aesthetics to fulfill marketing objectives.
They must demonstrate a willingness to look beyond the obvious solution, work smart, take personal initiative, and on occasion, work beyond the job description to meet the dynamic needs of our fast-paced and changing business.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the entire web design process from concept to launch
- Create polished web designs using WordPress and other CMS
- Design high-end, responsive website layouts and website elements
- Design and test web user interfaces
- Handle support ticket requests and all communications involved
- Multi-task various projects and handle tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Update and maintain existing websites
- Handle internal design requests
- Execute design requests based on client feedback
AREAS OF EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- Proficient experience with responsive websites
- Full understanding of WordPress
- UX / UI design
- Knowledge of GoDaddy products including website hosting, domains, and SSL certificates
- Understanding of WordPress plugins including Gravity Forms, Slider Revolution
- Working knowledge of HTML and CSS
- Extensive knowledge of graphic design and branding
- Chat Widgets
- Proactive problem-solving
- Strong creative computer skills
- Strong typographic and color skills
- Strong website usability and content organization skills
- Expert knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite
- Able to handle high profile design projects
- Project management

Schedule:
- 8-hour workday
- Monday through Friday
Education:
