Pay Scale: $100,000 - $120,000 annually
What you'll do:
- Manage all day-to-day operations of the Commissary
- Lead our team to increase production and motivate them through integrity, transparency, and genuine passion
- Track and record daily production of items processed at the commissary
- Develop processes that will maximize stewardship, safety, quality and productivity
- Track safety measures and ensure that they are upheld by commissary team members
- Promote and demonstrate food safety and sanitation consciousness
- Ensure the execution of the administrative and operational processes for each department leader
- Train and develop team members through coaching and accountability measures
- Process and report payroll to HR department biweekly for team members and ensure accurate timekeeping
- Create operation efficiencies while controlling costs and maintaining excellence
- Oversee proper upkeep of facility and equipment
- Managing and ensuring the compliance of all USDA regulations and standards as appointed by onsite USDA representative and other USDA communications
What we're looking for:
- Food Manager Certificate
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish
- Basic computer knowledge
- Lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
- Strong communication, multitasking, organizational, and leadership skills
- Detail-oriented
- Ability to embrace change and continuous learning
- Be an effective team player
- Manage conflicts with a positive and forward-thinking approach
