Position Summary

About You
Citi Ventures is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to join the Ventures Studio team in San Francisco. The Lead Software Engineer will be responsible for driving technical innovation, developing new products, and building highly scalable solutions. In addition, this role will be responsible for influencing and mentoring engineers across the organization and ensuring that the highest coding principles and standards are adopted. We are looking to recruit someone who is passionate about emerging trends and has the ability to succeed in a startup environment.
Position Responsibilities
Serve as a technical leader on our most demanding, cross-functional projects
Design and develop web applications using frameworks such as AngularJS and ReactJS
Ensure the quality of architecture and design of systems across the organization
Possess expert knowledge in performance, scalability, and engineering best practices
Effectively research and benchmark technologies
Assist in the career development others, actively mentoring individuals and the Citi developer community at large on advanced technical issues and helping managers guide the career growth of their team members

Qualifications

A degree in Computer Science or related field

5+ years of software development with a proven track record of leading the delivery of large-scale systems

Experience designing, implementing, and scaling web services in an agile environment

Highly motivated and a standout teammate

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

An entrepreneurial mindset
