POSITION DESCRIPTION

Holiday Inn Club Vacations operates a Quality Assurance department within Sales Operations. The employees in this department, the Quality Assurance Officers (QAOs), provide specialized administrative support to the Sales departments. The primary function of the Quality Assurance Officer is to reduce the number of completed sales that result in rescission or default. In order to accomplish this broad objective, QAOs are required to undertake a variety of special assignments and tasks and to use their discretion to resolve purchasers’ issues, concerns, and questions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS

  • Executes proper communication with all Holiday Inn Club Vacations affiliated departments, management and HCV owners.
  • Confirms sales and verifies contracts for HCV sales.
  • Handles walk-in cancellations and owner cancellation calls; rewrites sales and assist QAOs with mail out process in order to recover lost business.
  • Assists QA management with training and improvement of new and existing employees.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Higher education encouraged
  • Quality Assurance Officer Experience.

  • Active Notary Public within 90 days of employment.
  • Any other professional achievements would be a plus.

  • Minimum of 1 year timeshare sales experience.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk, sit; use hands and finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The employee is required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. WORKING CONDITIONS

The Quality Assurance Officer will divide his/her time between an air conditioned sales closing room, to a work office for administrative functions and taking new owners to models or purchased villas as needed. The Quality Assurance Officer must be flexible to adapt to immediate changing situations and environments based on staff and guest needs.

WORK SCHEDULE/HOURS

Flexible rotating schedule 7 days per week, “as needed” to accomplish special periodic scheduling needs. Typical schedule is five days on, two days off.
