Withminimal supervision, trains assemblers, tests,troubleshoots and repairs products and subcomponents using hand tools and powertools. Plans, directs, manages andevaluates the work activities of those on team. Monitors personnel in theperformance of assigned tasks.

Ensures that activity is in accordance with allrequirements and is completed on time.

Ensures that all personnel understand theresponsibility, authority, and accountability of their position. Ensures thatall personnel are properly trained in the procedures and knowledge required fortheir job descriptions.

Responsibilities
Functions as the point of contact for your area.
Work hand in hand with the Department Manager and Supervisor to achieve production goals and quality.
Assist in the hiring and training of new assembly techs
Reviews and verifies work/sales orders to customer requirements.
Assembles components to applicable procedures.
Tests valves or subcomponents per applicable procedure or sales order including hydro and functional testing.
Completes and submits all quality assurance documents.
Troubleshoots assembly of defective valves or subcomponents.
Repairs defective valves or subcomponents.
Trains Level I and II Assemblers.
Utilizes and abides by ISO and Safety Procedures.
Complies with all safety and quality policies, specifications, regulations, and instructions.
Performs other such duties as needed or required. Requirements
Ability to read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and/or assimilate verbal work instructions.
Ability to recognize, set up, and effectively uses pressure gauges and other general measuring instruments.
Knowledge of and ability to use hand tools and power tools.
Flexibility with regard to job assignments.
Ability to comprehend and utilize ISO manufacturing procedures.
Ability to perform basic computer operation and mathematical computation.
Ability to move or transfer products with overhead crane.
Ability to lift 30 pounds, if required.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; and four years related experience and/or training.
