Calvis Wyant Luxury Homes is seeking outstanding candidates for the position of Architectural Draftsperson. We are a nationally recognized Design/Build firm located in Scottsdale, AZ. Our company is focused on delivering exceptional quality, while providing a first class customer experience. This individual must be proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, and Sketch Up. Job responsibilities will include producing drawings from schematic phases through final construction documents, and will also include 3D modeling.   • Create professional, accurate and complete architectural drawings as required by municipality, HOA and marketplace.
  • Develop construction documents using Revit while adding details to ensure the product being constructed is fully implied and ready for review and approval of a professional engineer.
  • Maintain and document plan changes and redlines.
  • Adhere to design schedules to ensure projects are completed in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate designed plans with consultants and engineers to obtain a full set of approved and engineer stamped drawings that are ready for permitting and construction.
  • Demonstrate a knowledge of building code concepts and an ability to prepare plans along with permit application, monitor the progress, and ensure required changes needed to obtain permit are completed.
  • Conduct construction site visits to evaluate the details you provided in the construction documents and make any necessary changes requested by Superintendents.
  • Create 3D virtual models used for design review and marketing of homes.


Must be proficient in AutoCAD and Revit architecture programs, as well as being adept with Adobe, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office. Drafting will include Schematic Design, Design Development and Construction Documents. Must be proficient with design review submittal process, building code analysis, the permitting process, and construction administration within local jurisdiction.


Degree from a four-year college or university program with an emphasis in Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred. One to three years of architectural drafting experience preferred.
