Ethanol Technical Support- Various Locations
This is an exempt level position.

Be the lead and company expert in all ADM interactions with the federal Alcohol, Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau.
Monitor ADM permits & modify as needed, develop and communicate monthly DSP reports and excise tax returns, develop and monitor annual AFP reports. Review and ensure appropriateness of annual bond renewals. Work with TTB Rules and Regulations brands on requested clarifications.
Provide technical support for ADM and ADM’s customers with industrial user permits.
Provide technical support for all exports (proof of export) transactions.
Work with business unit on TTB compliance in business transactions.
EPA, ASTM and other regulatory activities
Provide comprehensive technical service in Federal and state regulatory efforts as well as the various standards developing organizations such as ASTM International, International Standards Organization, and Society of Automotive Engineers. Engage Federal agencies, when necessary, for beneficial treatment of renewable fuels in regulation such as Environmental Protection Agency, Federal Trade Commission, Department of Transportation and National Conference of Weights and Measures.
Be the lead for ADM’s annual sulfur (Tier 3) testing, certification and annual reporting for ethanol production.
Provide technical support for EPA’s RIN regulations, quarterly RFS reporting and interactions with customers.
Develop ADM’s position and weaknesses with the EPA Streamlining efforts to consolidate and update 40CFR Part 80.
Maintain an active role in EPA, ASTM, NCWM, ISO, SAE, UL and other standards developing organizations that create standards affecting the motor fuel industry to provide technical interpretation of standards.
Support ADM’s Commercial and Transportation Business
Provide any technical, industry best practices and production support to facilitate ADM’s business interests. Ensure the appropriate transport, storage and handling protocols are followed.
Develop solutions to overcome retail market barriers for ADM’s existing and potential customers and suppliers for dispensing equipment, working diligently with regulatory agencies such as the EPA Office of Underground Storage Tanks, State Fire Marshals, state underground storage tank agencies, equipment manufacturers and standards developing organizations such as Underwriters Laboratory, Petroleum Equipment Institute, Steel Tank Institute, etc.
There have been issues in ADM’s transportation business that have needed extensive contacts in the railroad industry associations such as the Association of American Railroads (AAR) to assist in resolving any technical issues.

Support ADM’s Production Divisions, Government Relations
Provide technical support for production facilities and regulatory requirements, customer requirements, and any other needs to facilitate commercial transactions.
Provide technical support for ADM’s Federal and State government affairs to ensure
Industry Relations
Provide leadership and input into Growth Energy and the Fuel Ethanol Technical Advisory Group (FETAG) discussions.
Support industry research technically to ensure ethanol advances in marketplace.
Maintain knowledge base of industry efforts, technology advancements.
Support the technical and regulatory activities of the state level ethanol trade associations (as needed).
Global Sustainability criteria for bioenergy

Bachelor’s Degree- preferred Chemical Engineer or similar background
Minimum 5 years’ experience
Strong communication skills
Team Player
Proficient in Microsoft Office
