The Director, Recruitment Operations is responsible for leading the day to day operations for the Kindred At Home (KAH) Region Recruitment team. Key objectives include: leadership and operational oversight for a team of 8 -10 Talent Acquisition (TA) - Recruitment staff supporting all clinical and business needs of the operations. Provides expertise, performance measurement-metrics, and oversight and results driven success in executing on Region strategies to support KAH meeting its business objectives. In partnership with the VP, Talent Acquisition (Corporate), AVP, Talent Acquisition, Region VP, HR (i.e., South, North, West), and Operations leaders, the Director will assist in the development and implementation of effective, efficient and innovative recruitment solutions to optimize the Region recruitment teams performance in all areas that impact talent identification and selection, client service, candidate experience and overall effectiveness of the business function.
The incumbent is responsible for the Region’s recruitment-talent strategy, onboarding, overall candidate experience, retention efforts, and metrics-reporting (as aligned with organizations – HR balanced scorecard). This includes oversight for posting, sourcing, interviewing-selection, pre-offer and post-offer, and any required reporting/auditing/compliance for the KAH. The Director is the Region’s business lead for all recruiting and onboarding activity related to systems, vendors, and processes/policies/procedures and is directly responsible to maximize the engagement of the Region’s operations hiring leadership, candidates and members of the Recruitment team.
Essential Functions :
Must support the KAH Mission, Vision and Value’s; and model leadership behaviors that support our values in all business, personal and team interactions.
Provide leadership and mentorship to Region recruitment team to ensure they possess all the necessary resources and tools to support successful performance.
Manage and provide oversight for an average of approximately 500-700 EReqs per month and assist the team with effectively managing the EReq volume to ensure the highest quality service to Hiring Managers (HM’s), HR Business Partners and Candidates (i.e., conduct service improvement calls, candidate surveys and feedback channels) and measure metrics that matter most.
Develop, evolve and implement effective, efficient and innovative recruitment solutions to optimize the Region performance (in partnership with leadership) to enhance and evolve the candidate experience and improve selection and retention utilizing all available resources.
In partnership with corporate-system develop and drive robust regional recruitment strategies to increase the pipeline of the paraprofessionals in the Regions (LPN/LVN, PTA, COTA, and other core HH positions, etc.).
Effectively partner with AVP, Talent Acquisition (Corporate) and/or AVP on any system strategies and improvements efforts; as well as working with other peers across the various KAH lines of business (i.e., Home Health, Hospice, Community Care, etc.) to leverage resources and share best practices to maximize the KAH Brand to recruit and retain talent.
Ensure that all resources and tools (i.e., Indeed, LinkedIn, LeadLeaper, GlassDoor, ZipRecruiter, Direct Email Campaigns, and all Sourcing strategies, etc.) and any new systems and tools are being utilized to full potential to increase the pipeline of qualified talent.
Provide operational expertise, recommendations (i.e., new tools/technology), and productivity metrics and results driven success in championing innovative solutions to achieve operational business objectives.
Improve the “candidate experience” through streamlining all the recruitment processes; as well as through data analysis and reporting.
In partnership with VP, Talent Acquisition serve as a “system lead and co-champion” on one or a variety of key KAH Recruitment Initiatives (i.e., ATS Optimization Efforts, Service Agreements, Toolkits, Candidate Experience, Onboarding, Workforce Engagement, Region Brand Initiatives, Workforce Planning-Forecasting and other key TA-Pipeline strategies, etc.).
Partner with AVP, Talent Acquisition and serve as Region lead on all recruitment and onboarding systems, technology and reporting (i.e., KAH EReq system, Silk Road/Open Hire, SilkRoad/Red Carpet, SAP, and Dashboard Reporting metrics, etc.).
Engage operational leadership on best practices for talent attraction, cultivation, selection and interviewing, onboarding and retaining talent for the KAH; and is directly responsible for leading and implementing a variety of resources and KAH “tool kits” (selection/interviewing, development, etc.,) to improve performance and to reduce regrettable turnover and to positively impact retention.
Creates and implements meaningful processes and reports meaningful data trends-metrics to support KAH monthly TA-Recruiting & Turnover Dashboard and People/HR scorecard; and is responsible for the recruitments performance-metrics to meet desired business results.
Responsible for ensuring that all TA-Recruitment Team members properly and timely disposition all candidates and report and close-out requisitions in ATS (Open Hire) to ensure quality reporting.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Organization Management, or equivalent experience in a related field.
License or Certification if needed
8+ years of professional experience in Talent Acquisition; with a minimum 3 years in leadership/management role – Recruitment or Human Resources within home health, hospice, health care or service environment is highly preferred.
Successful track record leading teams (8+); developing budgets, efficiently managing costs and reporting on key recruitment metrics.
Experience navigating in large organizations (multi-entity) and working in a centralized recruitment and/or shared services operations is ideal.
Successful in creating and executing best in class practices for full cycle recruitment processes, end to end candidate experience, hiring manager service experiences, and full engagement of the recruiting team.
Strong ability to collaborate and partner with KAH human resource partners, executives and division, region and branch operations leadership.
Demonstrated ability to facilitate team decision-making, and to manage a variety complex and competing priorities.
Build meaningful processes through service and feedback channels, data analysis and reporting to meet business objectives and desired outcomes: pipeline planning, social media and other related networking, selection/recruiting, productivity targets, and compliance actions.
In partnership with KAH may participate in negotiating and maintaining any vendor relationships in the Region to secure the most competitive pricing and service to deliver effective, efficient and quality services to KAH.
Owns the relationship with service providers, which may include: temporary manpower providers, contingent search firms and other third-party vendors and directs through the use of KAH partners and systems (i.e., VMS-Rightsourcing, etc.; and will partner with VMS-RightSourcing to resolve issues which may include: clearing contractors, researching and resolving issues between internal customers and suppliers).
By adopting and deploying a continual performance improvement approach, leads or partners with HR on all recruiting, onboarding/off boarding programs/processes across KAH.
Strong leadership presence to influence operational stakeholders, as a subject matter expert (SME) and business leader.
