We are seeking a full time Senior Associate to join our growing team in New York. We’re looking for someone who has an enthusiasm for mainstream news, politics and social and economic news. And someone who understands the “big picture” but also knows how to get their hands dirty to pull reports, launch content programs—including email and social media marketing—and conduct on-site testing.

Develop the initial communications and digital strategies across our non-profit, political and corporate clients. Digital strategy includes both content development and amplification through paid or owned channels.
Report into the Director and play a meaningful role with managing day-to-day client relationships in addition to the internal team, which includes: guiding a team; developing strategy; ensuring that campaigns operate as planned and reporting is up-to-date; and holding the team accountable for project objectives and goals.
Identify high-level client objectives and translate into a holistic strategic plan.
Ability to write strategic briefs and develop presentations that translate clients goals and objectives into actionable and measurable digital marketing and advertising programs.
Work together with media planners, media buyers, data scientists, designers, and client managers to provide impactful campaigns for our clients.

Required Experience and Skills

5+ years of experience working in an ad agency, communications agency, nonprofit or corporate communications.
Experience managing other team members.
Strong writing capabilities with experience developing content strategy and managing social media campaigns.
Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate campaign results and effectiveness to senior-level audiences.
Knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and their respective participants (Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Twitter, etc.) and how they can be deployed in different scenarios.
Knowledge of the modern digital advertising ecosystem.
Knowledge of Google Analytics and/or Adobe Analytics.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience launching ads in Google AdWords, Bing Ads, Facebook Business Manager, Twitter Ads, DoubleClick Campaign Manager, LinkedIn, Kenshoo Social or other DMPs.
Knowledge of CRM platforms such as Salsa, BlackBaud/Convio, Blue State Digital Tools, Hubspot, Salesforce, MailChimp or similar platforms.
