Bully Pulpit Interactive is a modern communications agency that solves the biggest challenges for truly great organizations. Born in politics and founded by leaders of the Obama campaign, we apply our unique expertise from these experiences to build sophisticated and customized strategies for companies, causes, and political candidates.
Based in Washington, D.C, New York, San Francisco, and Chicago, we support the world’s leading brands. We meet their need to establish differentiated and lasting bonds with their consumers in a world of fragmented media, deep skepticism, and rapidly changing culture.
By combining proprietary technology and deeper insights, we build believers with the speed and agility that today’s market requires.
We are seeking a full time Senior Associate to join our growing team in New York. We’re looking for someone who has an enthusiasm for mainstream news, politics and social and economic news. And someone who understands the “big picture” but also knows how to get their hands dirty to pull reports, launch content programs—including email and social media marketing—and conduct on-site testing.
You might be the perfect person for this position if:
You are someone who thrives in an agency with lots of moving pieces and can lead multiple projects across different initiatives.
You love checking things off your list and finding creative ways to get things done.
You can create an agenda and walk people through it.
You hold yourself and teams accountable for developing the best-in-class deliverables.
You can adapt and remain flexible in an environment where things constantly change and can encourage your team to do the same.
You read voraciously about current events and want to use your gift to be relevant.
Develop the initial communications and digital strategies across our non-profit, political and corporate clients. Digital strategy includes both content development and amplification through paid or owned channels.
Report into the Director and play a meaningful role with managing day-to-day client relationships in addition to the internal team, which includes: guiding a team; developing strategy; ensuring that campaigns operate as planned and reporting is up-to-date; and holding the team accountable for project objectives and goals.
Identify high-level client objectives and translate into a holistic strategic plan.
Ability to write strategic briefs and develop presentations that translate clients goals and objectives into actionable and measurable digital marketing and advertising programs.
Work together with media planners, media buyers, data scientists, designers, and client managers to provide impactful campaigns for our clients.
