Key Responsibilities

Responsible for planning, scheduling, conducting and coordinating the technical and management aspects of projects.
Accountable for the successful completion of engineering projects.
Requires extensive regular contact with assigned project team members and contractors.
Requires ability to travel approx. 35% of time.
Thorough understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes, standards, etc. and their impact on project activities is vital.
Assist in the specification & preparation of engineering project and/or equipment proposals.
Work closely with purchasing and designers/engineers to insure parts are ordered and received on time and meet specifications.
Develop machine/plant concepts.
Budget development, monitoring, and trend tracking.
Participating in site/contractor meetings and resolving site/engineering and management project issues.
Review and approve project related invoices.
Ensure effective engineering and communications.
Coordination and checking of engineering deliverables.
Prepare Monthly project status reports and/or presentations.
Effectively manage project scope by ensuring any changes to the scope are documented and approved with project change order request forms.
Performs day-to-day administrative tasks associated with the position
Troubleshoots and problem solves with other team members
Follow and maintain all proper safety procedures and utilize the appropriate personal protective equipment at all times
Other tasks as directed by manager
Qualifications

Experience and Education
Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, and three to five years off experience with advance knowledge, obtainable usually through a combination of experience and continuing education; or
Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
