Dell drives businesses forward in a changing world. Our Business System Analyst team analyzes complex business problems and resolves them using automated systems and applications. Using our skill in conveying technical information to a non-technical audience, we evaluate, analyze, define and document requirements, and then develop systems specifications and configurations for our customers that are cost effective and meet their needs. It’s all about having expertise in both end-user needs and business systems, applications and industry requirements.
Defines overall application functional and business requirements with end-users and recommends application modifications, configurations and processes
Acts as team leader for projects with moderate budgets or of a short to intermediate duration
Demonstrates leadership skills by mentoring more junior level staff and leading meetings
Implements, designs and upgrades applications; creates test plans for projects
Analyzes model test discrepancies to find trends and works with programmers to resolve
Establishes cost and time estimates for development or implementation of projects
Produces business process flow charts
Creates communication plans (correspondence, presentations and other materials) for knowledge transfer to leadership
Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time and form of desired results
Participates in external product vendors’ steering committees
Creates and executes moderately complex test scripts, provides training to end users and responds to critical and routine production support requests
Creates medium to high complexity functional designs using a disciplined application implementation methodology and review designs written by junior analysts
Assists project managers in defining, documenting, and clarifying business requirements
Evaluate and articulate technical requirements to address business requirements
Should have specialized knowledge in the field of CRM
5-7 yrs of work experience in the field of CRM/Siebel/Salesforce.com
5-7 yrs of work experience as Business Analyst with Tier 1 IT Captive units or Tier 1 IT services Organization.
