About the Site

Deutsche Bank Cary is the Bank’s strategic Technology Center of Excellence of North America with a 725 internal headcount supporting more than 250 applications with diverse CIO alignment across CIB, GTB, Group CIO, and CISO technology groups. The primary focus is agile software development with some infrastructure support and end user technology engineering.

Role Description

As an Agile Coach you will be responsible for driving positive change and greater levels of agility within our organization. You will use your knowledge and experience in applying agile principles, values and frameworks to help teams learn how to make improvements aimed at improving the flow and value of their work.

You will work across delivery teams and support leaders, utilizing a mix of coaching styles, like teacher, facilitator, coach and even mentor to bring benefit of those you work with. The status quo is there to be challenged and you will enjoy working with others in agitate thinking and problem solving to make experimentation an exciting yet structured discipline and a way of life.

Your Role

What You’ll Do:
Understand the value proposition of the teams you coach and help them adopt Agile practices to maximize their value and flow
Drive the adoption of Agile practices and values, applying a range of different practices and techniques appropriately to each context
Mentor individuals on the team into demonstrating how Agile principles are relevant to their role and shift their own values and beliefs to effect sustained changes to the way they work.
Teach and train people in Agile methods and practices
Coach Teams to unlock their knowledge through powerful questions, models and problem solving tools
Implement and contribute to evolving good practices, collaboration and knowledge sharing through the Agile Community and Agile Guild in Deutsche Bank

Skills You’ll Need:
Exposure to large organizational transformations is required
Experience mentoring team members, scrum master & product owner
Transforming and coaching teams to Agile-Lean practices
Experience in full development life cycle
Experience with multiple Agile frameworks and scaled Agile e.g. SAFe

Skills That Will Help You Excel:
Bachelor's Degree or better preferred
Strong presentation and facilitation skills, coaching and mentorship experience
Expert knowledge in multiple Agile disciplines, Scrum, Lean, SAFe, LeSS, etc
Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to communicate with and present to a variety of audiences including Senior Management
Relationship management and influencing/negotiation skills – to be able to manage relationships with team members including those located remotely
