CACI is seeking a dynamic Senior Program Manager who will be responsible for the performance and leadership in accordance with contract requirements and company policies, procedures and guidelines. This position is customer forward facing, responsible for client relationship management, while providing technical expertise and oversight on the program to advance the technology and performance. The Program Manager will be responsible for managing a team that supports global network and ultra-long-haul telecommunications services for over 40 U.S. Government organizations and service more than 270 worldwide locations with varying levels of service requirements due to diverse missions, environments, and available resources.
The candidate will work closely with government leadership to address technical and strategic challenges, developing plans and approaches to resolve complex issues.
He/she will provide “thought leadership” in areas of technology acquisition and implementation, specifically in relation to worldwide networks consisting of both terrestrial and satellite components.
Will define, launch, and drive mission-critical strategic and operational initiatives to address customer needs.
Candidate will be responsible for acquiring follow-on business associated with assigned programs and for supporting new business development by leading proposals.
Candidate will be responsible for complex program management tasks and development of standards and processes for scheduling, administration, and accounting.
He/she will clearly document and present findings including creation of diagrams and procedure documentation.
Candidate will be responsible for driving recommendations through to implementation and communicate effectively with a wide variety of technical and non-technical audiences.
He/she should be able to identify, analyze and define project/program requirements and scope.
Candidate will exercise broadly delegated authority for planning, directing, coordinating, administering, and executing many routine and complex projects.
He/she will define, acquire, and allocate budget, staff, and other resources necessary to accomplish the goals and/or objectives of the program group/function.
Experience with program financials and close out activities
Candidate will interview, select and train staff to provide quality results for the organization as needed.
He/she will develop performance plans and evaluations of employees, including subordinate supervisors as well as reviews evaluations to assure equity of individual employee performance objectives, standards and ratings among lower level staff/groups.
Current TS/SCI with poly
PMP Certification or equivalent training and certification
Must respond to short-fused, adhoc requirements for team deployments for special projects, maintenance, and procurement to support activities arising from world events.
Extensive experience in wide area networks, to include terrestrial and satellite solutions, including developing.
Experience leading organizations/programs of similar scope and size.
Must be well recognized and respected at all Customer levels
Master’s Degree in Business or Engineering
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's Degree in IT related subject and 8 years’ experience; a Doctorate with 4 years; a Masters with 6 years; or an Associates with 10 years’ experience, is required.
