About the Role
The Pharmer’s Market Sales Manager will be responsible for overseeing and leading the activities of the retail and wholesale sales teams. This role will be focused on Sales, Supplier Brand Awareness, and Sales Staff Development.
Responsibilities

Provides leadership to the retail and wholesale sales teams, with accountability for actions and results within the retail and wholesale functions.

Collaborates with upper management to develop sales quotas and strategies to increase profitability

Provides leadership, motivation, and encouragement to the sales team to ensure quotas are met

Plans, resources, and conducts quarterly training sessions for the sales teams
-
Reviews and analyzes sales reports; uses data to project sales, determine profitability and targets, and identify opportunities for growth

Identifies and analyzes customer preferences and needs to properly direct sales efforts
-
Consults with potential customers to understand their needs; identifies and suggest equipment, products, or services offered by the company to meet those needs

Maintain CRM of prospects and sales histories

Resolves customer, staffing, and other issues that may interfere with efficient sales operations

Develops and maintain SOPs and ensure compliance
-
Coordinates with the HR department in hiring, training, and mentoring the team

Manages procurement manager and production manager to ensure flower inventory reflects, or will meet expected sales trends

Educates the sales team on new products and services being offered by the company

Collaborates with the risk management department to minimize the risk involved with products and services offered by the company

Works with members of the sales team and clients to write and renew contracts as needed

Participates in the monthly POP events

Job duties will expand as needed and as knowledge and ability are demonstrated

Qualifications

3+ years experience in sales, Oregon cannabis experience preferred

Comparable record of sales leadership experience required

Ability to travel

Must be 21 years or older

Proficient in CRM systems and the Google Suite

Able to lift 50 pounds comfortably and above head
-
High School Diploma or GED equivalent certification

Possess a marijuana worker permit

Must pass satisfactory MVR requirements
