Receptionist/Office Administrative Assistant

Summary/Objective

We are looking for an experienced Part-time Receptionist/Office Assistant to work in our Orange County/Newport Beach location. The ideal candidate will be a hard-working professional with the ability to complete a variety of office support tasks like; answering telephones, greeting the public, providing customer assistance, data processing, and record-keeping.

Essential Functions

  • Greeting clients and visitors.
  • Handle incoming calls, emails, and deliveries.
  • Maintain Office Supplies: keep inventory and order needed supplies.
  • Maintain Office Equipment: stock copier and kitchen appliances.
  • Keeping common and guest areas clean and organized.
  • Managing filing, update paperwork, and documents.
  • Set-up meetings: making sure conference room is available and ready.
  • Ordering food if requested and setting up drinks when requested.
  • Coordinate events if necessary.
  • Maintain scheduling and event calendars.
  • Arrange conference, meeting, or travel reservations for office personnel.
  • Other general clerical duties and errands.

Required Education and Experience

  • Graduation from high school or GED equivalent required.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. Ideal candidate will be familiar with various office equipment and software. This person must also be able to work autonomously and with little directive.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a part-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8am to 3pm or 8:30am to 3:30pm.

Travel

No travel is expected for this position.
