This candidate will be a recognized subject matter expert in US Army command post operations and configurations; power generation, management and distribution systems; and US Army logistics systems and operations. The Liaison will manage and coordinate information flow to exploit opportunities and optimize Program Office successes. Works with very limited oversight, facilitates resolution of difficult or complex problems.
What You’ll Get to Do:
Responsible for support of program business and functional operations
Identifying and facilitating resolution of operational issues and acting as a liaison between technical and functional areas
Collaborates with customers to gather information, define complex work problems, and designs a system and procedures to resolve problems
Maintains currency in understanding of relevant technologies and subject areas
Identifies emerging relevant technologies that may result in improvements to current processes and systems
May support the Program Manager in planning, monitoring the program activities
Recommends improvements and/or modifications in sequence of operations, equipment utilization and related matters
Generates recommendations in the form of technical briefings, reports, and other major documents provided to senior level client personnel
Develops and updates functional or operating manuals outlining established methods of performing work in accordance with organizational policy
Serves as client liaison and coordinates with external stakeholders
Develops and delivers training and oral presentations, and explains the most complex material in a clear fashion
Participates in special projects as required
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Active Secret Security Clearance
Bachelor's degree or equivalent and ten years of related work experience
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Knowledge of Army organization and structure
Knowledge of the military acquisition process
Familiarity with command post and power generation operations within the US Army
