Job Summary

Transport and clean cooking utensils and serviceware in order to provide cooks, buspersons and food servers with appropriate equipment for guests’ dining experience. Maintains the cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of the main kitchen, and all outlets pertaining to the food operations at Kah-nee-ta.

Responsibilities and Duties

Maintain the dish room opening and closing protocols.
Wash, rinse, and sanitize all food service items, maintain and clean the dish machine according to instructions.
Maintain and follow the daily running side duties.
Maintain all trash containers (emptied, cleaned, sanitized, and fresh liners).
Assure that strict adherence to health code standards and policies regarding food handling are maintained at all times.
Maintain, clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment including; ladder racks, carts, hot boxes, appliances (i.e. meat slicers, mixers, etc.), as well as stationary equipment (i.e. steamers, ovens, kettles, etc.) according to side duties or when necessary.
Ability to grasp, lift and/or carry or otherwise move or push goods on a hand cart/truck weighing a maximum of 500 lbs.
Ability to transport heavy objects through a crowded room.
Qualifications and Skills

High School diploma or GED.
Possess or ability to obtain Food Handlers card.
Able to read, speak, and write English.
Ability to work well with co-worker
