Dynamic Concepts, Incorporated, a growing utility infrastructure company located in Washington, D.C. is searching for a General Manager. The General Manager will be primarily responsible for the oversight over multiple utilities, specifically gas and electric underground utility infrastructure as well as construction and outside plant infrastructure. The GM has the role of defining the strategic objectives and cascading these to the business units, ensuring flawless execution and productivity that provides maximum profit and return on the invested capital. As an experienced construction business executive, the incumbent also has full profit & loss responsibility and is well-versed on metrics and unit-based billing strategy.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Responsible for field operations and customer relations. Directs employees engaged in utility construction and related equipment across multiple work locations * Collaborate with senior management to oversee superintendent, foreman, operators; crews totaling 120-150 union and non-union employees * Responsible for managing P&L and balance sheet performance, drive overall profitability and build sources of growth and value creation in line with pre-set targets * Serve as point of contact with government agencies, Public Service Commission, Union leadership, customers, subcontractors and vendors * Manage projects and construction activities to ensure Company procedures are followed and compliance is maintained relative to all applicable local, state, safety and federal regulatory requirements, to include industry and all OSHA standards.

QUALIFICATIONS * The ideal candidate has 15 to 20 years’ construction management experience. A minimum of ten (10) years’ operating/engineering experience in electrical and gas distribution and/or transmission and pipeline operations. 10 years’ utility construction and maintenance operations * Bachelor’s degree in applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience * Prior supervisory experience in natural gas/utility construction, gas pipeline, dry utilities installation, and/or infrastructure operations
