Volunteer Position-

Community Blood Services, a not-for-profit organization, collects blood and blood products from many donors every day, then tests and distributes them to more than 20 hospitals throughout the New Jersey and New York area. As a volunteer, you will be part of the Community Blood Services' team, devoted to serving the community's transfusion needs.

Our volunteers are a great asset to our organization and to the communities we serve. Volunteering for Community Blood Services will provide you with the opportunities to make new friends, discover hidden talents and build self-confidence.

Community Blood Services offers volunteer opportunities seven days a week during the day and early evenings to meet our volunteer needs while helping the community. Listed below are just some of our exciting volunteer opportunities:

Canteen Host/Hostess (Paramus) monitor blood and platelet donors after they have donated, create a pleasant atmosphere for the donors by providing refreshments and engaging in conversation with donors.

Clerical Support (Montvale) assist with many projects, including the preparation of large mailings, filing, data entry and other support duties.

Tel-Recruitment Representative (Montvale) call donors and let them know that they are eligible to donate or that a mobile blood drive is coming to their area.
