InterVarsity Christian Fellowship/USA is a vibrant campus ministry that establishes and advances witnessing communities of students and faculty on college and universities across the United States. This position will work in Intervarsity's National Service Center in Madison, WI.

Qualifications:

  • Annually affirm InterVarsity’s Statement of Agreement, Code of Conduct, position on Human Sexuality, and women in leadership.
  • A passion for nursing—students, educators, nurses—and the university and college world.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Digital Media, or related field helpful.
  • A working knowledge of Internet communications strategies.
  • Content management experience.
  • Experience with website content management and social networking (Facebook, Twitter, etc.)
  • Able to travel periodically to InterVarsity’s National Service Center (Madison, WI), NCF and InterVarsity meetings, including the triennial Urbana Student Missions Conference and InterVarsity’s triennial National Staff Conference, other conferences which expand exposure to NCF audiences and resources.
  • A working knowledge of current Microsoft (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe (InDesign, Photoshop, Acobat Pro) software applications.

Job Duties:

To advance the purpose of InterVarsity, the Marketing and Communications Manager will manage marketing, communications, and ministry partner developmet (MPD) for Nurses Christian Fellowship (NCF) in collaboration with NCF leaders, and coordinating with the InterVarsity Communications Team. The Marketing and Communications Manager will also:

  • Assist with advancing the NCF mission, strategies, and goals through effective marketing, communication, and ministry partner development strategies.
  • Act as consultant to the NCF National Director/Journal of Christian NursingEditor-in-Chief; NCF Student Ministries Director; and NCF Professional Ministries Director.
  • Plan and manage NCF electronic, print, and media communications.
  • Develop a funding base.
