We are currently seeking remote workers in the Washington DC and surrounding area who are available for immediate start.
In this role, you can expect to do the following:
Assist current and potential new customers with enrollment processes and assist existing customers
Receive a high volume of calls throughout the day
Research accounts and provide account status updates
Provide new customers with program specific information and application assistance.
Explain program specific benefits to qualified or approved applicants and existing customers
Strive to achieve first call resolution and maintain the quality of service provided by the call center program
Use multiple systems on multiple platforms at the same time
Apply listening skills to understand the needs and complaints of the customer before offering them the best possible solution.
Respond efficiently to customers and create a positive experience.
Understand and use the required software, reports, tools, and metrics.
Transfer and escalate the calls to the appropriate department if needed.
Participate in training and strive to increase and improve existing skills.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Demonstrate patience and compassion toward callers and their needs.
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
Requirements of the position:
Must be 18 years or older
High school diploma or equivalent
Professional telephone manner, customer service skills, active listening skills, verbal, and written communication skills
Ability to use a computer and learn systems
Ability to resolve conflict and diffuse tension
Effective time management skills
Pass a minimum basic skills test
Our remote worker program might require you to have a computer that meets certain minimum memory and processing ability. Successful candidates should have a broadband Internet connection as they will need to connect remotely.
All remote workers in the Flex program are expected to participate in a paid training and evaluation period where they will be expected to be online during scheduled training and pass evaluations.
