Pro Energy Services Group LLC is urgently hiring experienced Vegetation Management/Habitat Restoration Laborers to work in various work locations throughout the Southern California Area. We are looking for reliable and detail-oriented individuals who enjoy working outdoors. New hires will initially be assigned to our utility structure brushing project. Our team annually inspects, documents, and clears primary electric utility distribution and transmission poles and select sub-transmission towers in the High Fire Risk and State Responsibility Areas. Candidates must have reliable transportation to the yard, be willing to travel to various job sites, the ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, and have an active driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record. Previous construction, landscape, habitat restoration or vegetation management experience is required to be considered for this role.
Job Summary:
The primary focus of this position is to perform a wide range of physical labor tasks and construction site labor as requested. Also serves as the crew lead while on site.
Example of Duties:

Completes daily paperwork including daily logs, tailboards, and timesheets.

Performs physical labor on construction and utility sites.

Attends and may lead safety briefings, actively engages in safety programs, meetings, and other training sessions.

Prepares layout area where work will take place by properly measuring, marking, or recording openings or distances.

Notifies customer as necessary.

Runs different types of equipment as requested and assists equipment operator and other skilled labor when necessary.

Cleans and prepares jobsite as assigned. This may include digging trenches, erecting scaffolding, cleaning up rubble, debris, trash and vegetation, and removing flammable or hazardous materials, and disposing of it appropriately.

Loads or unloads waste, equipment and/or construction materials.

Removes, fills or compacts earth.

Performs habitat restorative work as requested including the application of chemicals.

Operates a wide variety of hand and power tools.

Cleans jobsite at the end of the day, ensuring trash is properly disposed of and materials or equipment is properly stored.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Experience/Education:

Previous construction , landscape, habitat restoration or vegetation management experience is required.

Prior experience in construction and working on a team preferred.

High school diploma or equivalent.
Licenses/Certifications:
Possession of a valid California driver's license, Class C, with the ability to maintain insurability under the company’s insurance carrier required. CDL highly desirable.
