Position: Regional Property Manager

Role Overview:
As a Regional Property Manager, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our properties across multiple locations. You will oversee day-to-day property management activities, mentor on-site staff, and ensure all properties under your supervision meet our high standards of quality and service. Your role will involve a mix of strategic planning, team management, and hands-on problem-solving.
Primary Objectives:
- Oversee the management of multiple properties, ensuring each operates effectively and meets company standards.
- Lead and mentor on-site staff, providing guidance and support in all aspects of property management.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant state and local regulations.
Regular Work Activities:
- Conduct regular building walkthroughs and inspections, noting deficiencies and taking corrective action.
- Manage and oversee special projects, and ensure they are completed on time and within budget.
- Handle staffing needs, including posting job ads, screening applicants, conducting interviews, and training new hires.
- Approve payroll and manage the processing of building invoices.
- Resolve escalated issues with tenants, contractors, and staff, ensuring a high standard of service is maintained.
- Oversee compliance-related work, including lease renewals and adherence to local regulations.
- Assist with budgeting and financial planning for properties under your management.
Additional Activities and Mandatory Meetings:
- Regularly report to top management on property performance, challenges, and opportunities.
- Participate in weekly team meetings to discuss progress, address issues, and strategize for future operations.
- Stay updated on industry trends and lead the adoption of best practices in property management.
Key Skills:
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Extensive knowledge of building mechanicals, renovations, and systems (e.g., boilers, elevators).
- Proficiency in property management software (Yardi, Entech) and tools (Cameras, Egnyte).
- Basic understanding of apartment renovations and building systems (plumbing, electrical, carpentry).
- Ability to manage multiple properties and teams effectively, with a focus on continuous improvement.
Interactions:
- Collaborate closely with on-site property managers and building staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Work with top management to align property management strategies with overall business goals.
- Engage with vendors, contractors, and tenants to ensure all interactions meet company standards of professionalism.
What Success Looks Like:
- Efficient management of multiple properties, resulting in satisfied tenants and optimized property performance.
- Effective leadership and development of on-site staff, leading to high team morale and productivity.
Metrics for Evaluation:
- Property performance metrics, including tenant satisfaction and financial targets.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
