Reed Construction is a fifth-generation, family-owned General Contractor with over 125 years of experience in the construction industry. We are looking for a highly motivated Marketing Coordinator to join our growing Marketing Department. The ideal candidate will work with various departments across the company with a strong focus on collaboration and problem solving.
It is the responsibility of a Project Engineer (PE) to maintain an organized system of project documentation as well as archive and distribute project documents, including drawings, construction documents, RFIs, and submittals. The PE should effectively communicate with fellow project team members to maintain visibility on project accountabilities for multiple projects at various stages. In addition to the functions of this role, the PE is also responsible for upholding Reed’s core values of: Strive to Always Improve, Communicate Openly and Honestly, Go Above and Beyond, and Work as a Team.
Assist in development of project schedules as required
Assist in budgeting preliminary documents
Solicits vendors for pricing; performs follow-up calls
Perform estimates and takeoffs
Maintains various information logs (e.g., purchasing, estimating, RFIs, submittals, punch list)
Prepare a submittal log in accordance with the project drawings and specifications. Monitor and expedite submittals in accordance with the submittal log and project schedule. Follow through as required.
Maintain tracking system to expedite construction materials and equipment
Distribute punch list to subcontractors.
Attend and participate in project meetings, generate meeting agendas, record and distribute meeting minutes.
Collect closeout documents from vendors and subcontractors. Upon completion of project, compile and send closeout information to owners.
Perform additional assignments per Project Manager or Superintendent's direction.
Distribute new or updated drawings and specifications
Become proficient in project management software, including:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering, Construction Management or related field
Working knowledge of techniques, drawings and specifications, building materials, construction equipment and required standards applicable to discipline.

Experience with project management software is a plus (Procore, On-Screen Takeoff, Timberline, Salesforce, Microsoft Project)
