Epson is looking for an innovative, analytical Portfolio Marketing Manager to join our Latin America team in Long Beach, CA.

What You Will Be Doing
Leading the product marketing business planning process, schedule, deliverables and alignment meetings across marketing, finance, sales, sales operations, and senior management for the Commercial Printing Division (Point of Sales printers, Business Inkjet Printers, Scanners and Dot Matrix Printers)
Developing and recommending the portfolio mix, unit volumes, channel mix, product pricing and dealer margin scenarios that optimize the growth and profitability targets for the business.
Leading the business model analysis to maximize life-time-value profit (CMP) and market share.
Tracking Average Selling Price (ASP) for the entire portfolio ensuring compliance with SEIKO EPSON Corporation (SEC – EPSON’s parent company) targets and maintain EPSON’s internal systems
Interacting with SEC and Latin America Sales companies to asses and consolidate key data points.
Developing and communicating clear business plan presentations and updates, which highlight the key messages, issues, risks, opportunities and the “story” behind the numbers.
Lead the development of the quarterly (FC’s), annual business plan (BP), and mid-term plan three year forecast (MTP) from a product marketing perspective.
Deliver detailed plans with documented assumptions behind the portfolio mix, unit volumes, revenue dollars, ASP, channel mix, market share and pricing.
Drive the schedule and alignment process with executive management for submitting each business plan and Quarterly (FC’s) on time to SEC.
Develop executive summary presentations, which highlight key areas of risk, opportunity and changes in the portfolio management strategy.
Understand and communicate our parent companies goals, objectives, metrics, and key assumptions behind their targets and the gaps between EAI’s recommendations.
Understand the current and future product portfolio including pricing, margins, MDF, financial targets and make recommendations.
Utilize analytical tools, financial spreadsheets and EPSON’s internal databases to develop and maintain business forecasts and ASPs management/compliance.
Build strong relationships with key Product Managers, Directors, Senior Executives, SEC and local sales company to enable strategic business forecast alignment and ongoing process improvement
About Your Experience:
3-5 years of experience in a strategic consulting, finance, sales operations or related role.
Superior analytical and excel modeling skills.
BA/BS degree or related working experience, MBA preferred.
Spanish and/or Portuguese language skills preferred.
