The IT Intern will be responsible for help desk support for SGT’s corporate office. Working as part of a team, this person will provide tier one help desk support and respond to user issues. This position requires excellent communication (verbal and written) skills.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Understanding of web applications to accept, interact and edit help desk inquires
Be the liaison between the IT team and our end users.
Expert communication skills (written and verbal)
Ability to multitask in a busy environment (multiple work streams)
Able to deliver reports and updates on a schedule and meet 100% of all deadlines
High school diploma or higher
6-12 months of experience - Help Desk/IT Support
Experience with computer equipment - PCs, monitors, etc.
Experience with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word and Excel)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Some technical background in web, database or related areas
