Seeking qualified candidates for an Executive Assistant to provide responsible, complex and confidential professional level clerical, administrative and technical support to the Chief of Police and other Police executive staff. In addition to administrative and general clerical functions, the position assists with research and special assignments, schedules and arranges meetings, makes travel arrangements and includes coordination of recurring events and activities of the department.

Minimum qualifications: Associate of Arts Degree in office management, office technology or closely related field along with five (5) years of experience in clerical work in a similar administrative position including one year of supervisory or office management experience. A combination of education, training and/or experience may be substituted for college degree. Must pass an extensive background check and must take polygraph test.

Annual entry rate of pay: $17.96 - $19.40, DOQ.
