About The Position:
Busy, small mortgage office needs YOU to assist part time. This position will require 20 hours/week and at least 4 days/week preferred. Job will vary at times, but includes file management, emailing, greeting customers, photocopying and printing, letter mail outs, database updating, and other duties assigned by the Branch Manager. Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Consistently deliver excellent customer service
Follow up on leads and customers pre-qualified without a purchase contract
Field calls from prospective borrowers
Ensure customer follow-up on missing documentation/info
Set and confirm appointments for face-to-face meetings
Promptly respond to customer’s questions and concerns, including but not limited to application, loan processing status and closing date
Assist with marketing including hand-written notes and occasional networking event attendance
Enter initial borrower info into automated loan system
Accurately obtain and review applicant’s credit history
Review, scan and store client files
Status communication to all parties – realtor, borrower, internal team
Assist through processing and underwriting to maintain efficient progress
High school diploma or equivalent required
Minimum of 2 years secondary school preferred
Ability to manage multiple priorities; strong attention to detail and highly organized.
Works with a strong sense of urgency and responsiveness
Passionate about delivering excellence in customer service
Demonstrated patience and professionalism when interacting with both internal and external customers
Proficiency with data entry, PDF software programs, Microsoft Word, Excel, Email, Easy Spreadsheet, and Power Point required.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Basic math skills
Ethical, with a commitment to company values
