Assist in processing a bi-weekly payroll for 3,000 employees in 12 western states. Help maintain employee related records to ensure accuracy and accessibility to information when payroll related questions arise.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Data Entry into Time Keeping and Payroll Systems
Assisting with entries for employee master file and employee deductions
Audit time card data of corporate office hourly employee’s hours for exceptions
Receive, sort and distribute payroll checks
Print weekly time card report for distribution to supervisors and employees
Wage subsidy reports for workers’ compensation insurance
Effective verbal and written communication skills with the payroll department, other Reddaway corporate office team members and employees located at our field office locations
Filing of bi-weekly payroll processing, line haul sheets and time cards
Open and distribute payroll mail
Miscellaneous projects as assigned
1+ year experience in payroll.
Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Demonstrated organizational abilities.
Proficient in MS Excel
High School Education or higher
