Become an Executive Assistant 2 at Edison International (EIX) and build a better tomorrow. In this job, you’ll will provide advanced administrative and project support to the Vice President, Managing Director, and Director of Tax. You will be responsible for performing advanced administrative and secretarial functions as well as special projects. The role will require you to have collaborative partnership with officers, executives, and administrative assistants across the organization. It is critical that you can maintaining confidentiality of the most sensitive and confidential corporate information.

A day in the life - Get ready to think big, work smart and shine bright!
Coordinate executive-level meetings.
Interface with all levels of personnel, including senior management, external company executives, and their assistants.
Update reports and distribution lists.
Complete travel arrangements for Tax dept personnel.
Process timekeeping, expense reports, credit card reconciliations, and office invoices.
Assist with onboarding and offboarding activities.
Review and route incoming and outgoing correspondence ensuring prioritization, review and response as appropriate.
Support Tax dept in mailing and filing of time sensitive tax returns and reports
Maintain consulting engagement letters, and payment of invoices including tracking budget and reconciling to SAP.
Compose correspondence and other materials as requested.
Draft, proofread, edit, and reformat presentations and reports (including charts and tables).
Maintain Tax Department Library and Sharepoint site.
Handle multiple assignments with minimal supervision.
Handle highly confidential and sensitive information.
Maintain calendar and office supplies, ensuring office aesthetics, and answer and route telephone calls appropriately.
Maintain a safety conscious work environment by following Edison safety protocols and safe work practices. Represent or support dept in Safety Congress activities.
Perform other responsibilities and duties as assigned.
Five years of experience performing advanced administrative, secretarial, and clerical functions.
Three years of experience supporting a director level or higher.
Experience and comfort with technology (SAP, SharePoint, etc) and with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Team and Outlook.
Experience managing executive level calendars, including coordinating, scheduling, and planning meetings, appointments, video conferencing, and using SharePoint Libraries.
Experience coordinating executive-level meetings (tasks include setting-up video conferencing, conference calls, conference rooms, and presentations).
Experience organizing a heavy workload, being proactive, creative, working well under pressure, and performing tasks/assignments with minimal supervision and a high attention to detail and quality of work.
Experience working effectively and accurately on diverse and concurrent assignments in an environment with frequent interruptions, changing priorities, and tight operating deadlines.
Experience processing timekeeping, expense reports, credit card reconciliations, office invoices, and other related documents/activities.
Experience working in or supporting Finance, Accounting or Tax related groups
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral, and ability to convey a positive and professional image.
Collaborative teamwork and leadership abilities.
Ability to adapt to and thrive in a quiet shared executive work space.
Ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive and confidential information.
Ability to follow Edison safety protocols and safe work practices.
