The Manager - Insights, Industry and Macro Trends is a management position responsible for leading the development of reports and intelligence gathering to help Business Leaders make informed decisions. This role will be reporting to and working closely with the Senior Manager, Survey and Consumer Insights, who reports to the Director of Data Strategy and Insights.
The Manager will serve as the organization’s “trend spotter”, by examining data, market shifts, and cultural changes to identify emerging patterns which could impact future business plans. By helping the organization understand trends, this individual will help internal teams make informed business decisions and make sure we’re prepared as the market changes.
This experienced professional has experience collecting, analyzing, and distilling information from a disparate group of sources. They work independently, possess strong communication skills, and business experiences. This role will develop and manage a schedule of regular presentations for different teams, including Executive leadership. This position oversees internal /external partners and will be responsible for the expansion of our knowledge of competitive activity, trends, and consumer sentiment, ensuring the development and delivery of valuable business insights.
Reporting/Analytics
Track consumer, Economic and Industry Trends that could impact our business, and bring these sources of information together in order to provide guidance/recommendations to cross-functional teams and Executive Leadership
Become well versed in information available across different sources, including reports from 3rd party suppliers, industry news providers, and syndicated data sources
Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree; or 6 years and a master’s degree; or a PhD with 3 years of experience; or equivalent work experience
