The Pattie Group is looking for a dynamic, tenacious, and detail-oriented individual to join our team as the Financial Controller. Responsibilities include all aspects of accounting, financial and fiscal management of the company. This position includes producing monthly company financials, critical data processing, and analysis, working with general ledgers, assisting with tax preparation, annual budgeting, report generating, and executing bi-weekly payroll. This is a key leadership role within the company and requires someone that buys into the small business atmosphere/culture and is a true team player.
Qualifications:

Degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA License a plus

A minimum of six years of experience in an accounting role

Outstanding communication and organizational skills
-
Ability to work collaboratively internally and with outside vendors

Construction accounting knowledge a plus
-
Experience with multiple entities and inter-company accounts

Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks

Prior management experience

Responsibilities:

Develop and manage annual budgets that are adequate for the organization’s needs including preparation of periodic budget forecasts

Prepare and maintain cash flow analyses as needed
-
Analyze monthly financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, and statement of cash flows) and effectively convey analysis to staff as requested
-
Assist in preparing year-end books
-
Reconcile bank accounts and general ledger accounts as assigned
-
Assist in reconciling all balance sheet and income statement accounts on a monthly/quarterly basis as indicated by the monthly closing schedule.

Process payroll and report payroll taxes for the organization
