Full Job Description
The Senior Director and Head of Payor-Agnostic Product for CVS Health is responsible for developing the strategy and commercialization plan for the company’s payor-agnostic advocacy and care solutions. As part of the CVS Transformation organization, this leader will build a portfolio of innovative products designed to help our members have the best possible health care experience by removing complexity, improving outcomes and lowering the cost of care.
This leader must demonstrate a consumer-obsessed mindset, proactively identifying gaps in the consumer experience of health care and advancing solutions through a rigorous product development process. This role will utilize the industry-leading assets available to CVS Health/Aetna to create a member-centric experience that makes it easy for consumers to manage their care needs and stay healthy.
Critical to the success of this position will be forming and maintaining close working relationships with senior executives and business partners at all levels across the CVS Health enterprise to understand the business and market, guide teams to take advantage of opportunities, and deliver experiences that positively impact the end consumer.
Key responsibilities for the role include but are not limited to:
Define bold, long-term visions for payor-agnostic care and advocacy products and services
Directs analysis to gain a comprehensive understanding of external environmental influences and competitive pressures, incorporating findings into product roadmap and overall product strategy
Thorough vetting of existing internal capabilities across the CVS/AET organization and identifying gaps in functionality to be prioritized to achieve the optimal member experience
Build business cases and quantify market demand to support product strategy and investment needs
Develop and implement pricing and go-to-market strategies for the payor-agnostic portfolio through the various Aetna/CVS delivery channels
Directs the establishment of large cross-functional development and implementation work groups, encouraging collaboration and innovative use of resources to achieve objectives consistent with the strategic goals for the payor-agnostic product portfolio
Directly work with service, care management, analytics, engineering, marketing, and the Aetna and PBM product teams to manage feature roadmap, product performance, and scaling of key capabilities
5-10 years of prior work experience in advocacy, strategy or clinical product
Demonstrates a deep understanding of the health care marketplace, health care economics, consumer engagement channels (e.g., digital, telephonic, retail, etc.) and product management, strategy, and development
Thinks and acts strategically, can diagnose and implement solutions for complex problems
Impacts and influences senior leadership, peers and colleagues through coherent business cases
Excels with collaborative projects that include cross-functional teams
Has a growth mindset and is accountable to deliver exceptional outcomes consistently
Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred
