We currently have an opportunity for an Accounting Specialist in our Sparks, Nevada office to work with the accounting team to work closely with our Accounting Manager on processing external invoices for payment (AP) and receiving payments from customers on sales invoices (AR).
The role includes invoice verification, facilitation and issues resolution, exception management and special invoice/payment processing. The role requires reasonable experience and understanding of both Accounts Receivable and Accounts payable processes.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years general accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing/production environment. They will have strong math and computer skills. One must be proficient in MS Excel, Word and Outlook, integrated computerized accounting/ERP systems (preferably Visual Manufacturing), SQL knowledge a plus.
