Store Manager

Job Duties:

  • Executes organizational goals set for the location (financial performance, sales, budgets and cost control)
  • Builds and strengthens customer base and resolves any elevated customer issues
  • Leads management, department and employee meetings and communication flow
  • Communicates with other store managers to implement best practices and consistent processes for departments within the organization
  • Supports corporate managers in implementing changes in any department within the location
  • Ensures the successful planning and execution of marketing activities and events
  • Oversees maintenance, security and dealership appearance for the location
  • May represent the company for the sale of machinery as needed
  • Provides hiring and employee development for location personnel
  • Manages on-going relationships with key John Deere personnel
  • And other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

  • 5+ years' experience required in sales or management of a retail environment
  • 1+ additional years' experience as a parts or service manager preferred
  • Familiar with John Deere and competitive products
  • Experience dealing with elevated customer issues
  • Ability to lead and motivate others
  • Marketing experience and a solid understanding of sales, parts and service operations
  • Solid analytical, business planning, problem solving, and communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Business, Management or equivalent experience required
  • Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record
