The Business Solutions group integrates product, systems, and project management expertise to execute the bank’s operations strategic plans. The group is comprised of six product focused teams, including: Deposit, Loans, Treasury, Accounting, Trade Finance, and Money Transfer. In addition to supporting production, Business Solutions provides requirements gathering analysis, user testing support, and project management functions within operations related system projects. Business Solutions provides support within the Americas region, including U.S. West Coast, U.S. East Coast, Canada and Latin America.
Support bank operations and customer onboarding primarily related to the following areas: Customer KYC, User Entitlements, Core Banking Table Configurations, and other anti-money laundering related concepts related to customer privacy. Serve as a Business Analyst who interfaces between with end users and IT to execute system related projects.
Customer Onboarding Application Support (Customer Data Layer Application)
Support regulatory enhancement initiatives related to KYC concepts
Support Requirements Gathering and Analysis, Workflow Creation and Business Requirements Documents Creation
Support System Design Documentation (Functional Design Documents)
Create User Training Documents and Operation Procedures and Conduct End User Training
Support Creation of Work Breakdown Structures and Conduct Management Reporting
Support User Acceptance Testing – Plan Creation and Test Case Review/Execution
Interact with senior management for routine project reporting and critical issue of production issues
Coordinate system access and user entitlement table changes ]
Communication with global partners including partners in our Tokyo Home Office
1-3 Years’ Experience in Banking Specific to Customer Onboarding and/or Knowledge of KYC concepts
Basic Knowledge of Project Management and Business Analyst Concepts (e.g. SDLC, Waterfall, etc.)
College majors including Business, Economics, Accounting, Information Systems, Finance, or other related major
Microsoft Office Suite proficiency (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project, and Outlook)
Proficiency in SQL, Business Objects, or database inquiry tools a plus
Strong verbal and written communications skills are required
Excellent critical thinking, organization and time management skills with attention to detail
Self-starter with the ability to synthesize ambiguous information and develop creative solutions
Ability to work efficiently and effectively on collaborative projects or independently, as needed
Must possess individual initiative, self-discipline and integrity, leadership qualities
Experience leading or working on team related projects within their related majors or externally via extracurricular activities
Japanese Proficiency is plus
